Q: I've had my CRYSTAL LIGHT in my pantry for a while. How do I know if it has expired?
A:

To let you know how long a product is good for, we have code dates on all of our packaging.

Our CRYSTAL LIGHT products contain a "Best Before" date.  The Best Before date is printed on the bottom of the canister or bottom of the carton.  It will appear as follows:

Example: 07AU22

07 = Year of Expiration
AU = Month
22 = Day of Month

OR

Example: 2014 JA 26
               D5 14:36 09

2014 = Year of Expiration
JA = Month  (January)
26 = Day of Month

D5 = Plant Code
14:36  = Military Production Time
09 = Product Line

OR

Example:  12JA09 XPG 1 22:49  = good until  Jan. 09, 2012

12 = Year (2012)
JA = Month (January)
09 = Day of Month (9th)

XPG = Plant Code/Line
1 = Line
22:49 = Military Time Stamp

The product should be consumed by this date.

We cannot assure freshness after that date because the taste and texture may have deteriorated
