Q: Why did the name on the KRAFT American Singles label change?
A: The name on the KRAFT American Singles label changed from Pasteurized Process Cheese Food to Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product. The KRAFT Singles label changed, but the great taste remains the same. KRAFT proactively changed the generic product name for KRAFT Singles to Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product instead of Pasteurized Process Cheese Food to be consistent with recent statements from regulators. KRAFT American Singles now offers double the calcium in each slice. Each serving of KRAFT American Singles provides 20% of the Daily Value for calcium, a critical nutrient in children's diets. KRAFT Singles are America's favorite cheese slices, providing the same great taste, high quality and wholesome nutrition that you know and love.
