BAKER'S Coconut comes in two varieties, ANGEL FLAKE and Premium Shred. We've included a short description of both below.
ANGEL FLAKE: This is a high quality, tender, flaked, sugared coconut that can be used as a topping or in a variety of baked goods and confections. It is shorter and flatter than our Premium Shred Coconut. It is made from fresh coconut meat, processed to nearly resemble fresh grated coconut. ANGEL FLAKE is available in 7 and 14 ounce bags. Premium Shred: Our Premium Shred is a high quality shredded coconut for use in cooked mixtures such as pie fillings, cookies, cakes, custards and puddings. It is a crisp, sugared coconut in a round shred and the pieces are considerably longer and wider than ANGEL FLAKE. Premium Shred is available in a 14 ounce bag. |
