Q: Why is white chocolate white?
A: White chocolate is made from cocoa butter, sugar, milk and other flavoring ingredients.  All of the cocoa, which is dark in color, is filter-pressed out of the cocoa bean and only the cocoa butter is left.  Since cocoa butter is more of a cream color than the cocoa, the chocolate that is produced is considered "white".
