Q: How do I read the code date on my CAPRI SUN ready-to-drink pouches?
A: CAPRI SUN products now contains a Best When Used By date.

The code date is located on the carton flap and top edge of pouch.  A code date may also be located on back of pouch.

Best When Used By Coding: The date will appear as follows:

POUCH CODE EXAMPLE:

09JUL2008
G61345

09 = Day of Month
JUL = Month
2008 = Year of Expiration
G = Plant Code
6 = Production Line
1345 = Production Time

CARTON CODE EXAMPLE:

09JUL2008
G61345

09 = Day of Month
JUL = Month
2008 = Year of Expiration
G = Plant Code
6 = Production Line
1345 = Production Time

The product should be consumed by the date on the package.  We do not recommend consuming after that date.
