The origins of the Yuban Coffee Company date back to the turn of the century with a young coffee merchant named John Arbuckle from Brooklyn, New York. During the Christmas holiday season, Mr. Arbuckle would serve a special coffee blend to his family and friends during his annual  Yuletide Banquet.  Thus he began calling his coffee  Yu-Ban,  a name that continues to inspire the Essence of Coffee.
