Oil-Roasted nuts are deep-fried in oil at about 315 degrees Fahrenheit. Dry roasting is done in high-temperature ovens without oils. Planters dry-roasted peanuts are coated with a spice mixture that enhances their natural flavor. Gelatin is used to help the spices adhere to the nuts. Honey-Roasted nuts can be either oil roasted or dry roasted. Both are coated with a honey mixture after processing. |
