Q: Why do you use artificial colors in some of your products?  Are they cheaper?
A:
  • We consider a number of factors when choosing ingredients but consumer safety is first and foremost. Other factors include consumer enjoyment, quality, availability, performance, and cost.
  • We also consider how the ingredient will work in terms of taste, appearance and texture. We can't make a comparison based solely on cost.
  • Unfortunately, making changes isn't as simple as it would seem. Even minute changes can compromise the product taste and quality consumers have come to expect.
