COOL WHIP Whipped Topping may be used as a substitute for fresh whipping cream.
If recipe calls for one cup liquid heavy cream to be whipped (will double in volume), use 2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. If a recipe calls for one cup whipping cream, use one cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. If you do substitute COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in recipes, we recommend reducing sugar in recipe about 1-1/2 teaspoon for each cup of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping substituted for unsweetened whipping cream. |
