Q: What is maltodextrin?
A:

Maltodextrin is an easily digested carbohydrate made from corn, potato, rice or wheat starch.  If Maltodextrin is used in any of our products, it will be listed on the ingredient line, on the package.  If the Maltodextrin used in any of our products is from Wheat, we will declare as 'wheat maltodextrin' on the label.

It is used in such very small amounts that one serving of a product with maltodextrin will not contribute a significant amount of carbohydrate to the diet.  Maltodextrin functions to evenly distribute aspartame throughout the product.
