| A: | Start with boiling water. The mixture of ice and water must be the specified quantity (1 1/4 cups for 4 servings and 2 1/2 cups for 8 servings). You must stir continuously until mixture is slightly thickened, removing any unmelted ice. It must chill at least 30 minutes for soft set or 1 to 1-1/2 hours until firm. |
