Prepared Gelatin maintains best flavor and consistency for 2 to 3 days when it is stored covered in the refrigerator. After that, it may become rubbery due to the evaporation of water.
Sugar Free Gelatin may become watery in 1 to 2 days if it is prepared in a large bowl and only some of the gelatin has been consumed. For best results, we suggest preparing the gelatin in individual serving dishes for longer storage. Prepared gelatin should not be frozen because it would become watery upon thawing. |
