How long can I store KRAFT Caramels before they are opened? |

We recommend storing KRAFT Caramels in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight. We recommend consuming them before the Best When Used By date. This expiration date is listed on the back of the package and looks like this: 9004VX 1 A. The 9 stands for the year in which the product expires, 2009, and the next three numbers stand for the day of the year, in this case the fourth day of 2009, which is January 4th. The remaining letters or numbers are plant codes. We don't recommend consuming the product after this date because it may not have optimal taste and texture quality.
