Q: I've had my KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese in my pantry for a while now, how can I tell if it has expired?
A: All of our products have what is called a code date. This date can be considered a Best When Used By Date .

The Best When Used By Date on your Macaroni & Cheese product is located on the side panel of the box, above the cooking directions.

For Example, say that your stamped date is as follows:

MAR 07 99
S-1 16:03

Mar 07 99 = is the best when used by date
S = is the plant code (Springfield)
1 = is the production line
16:03 = is the time (in military time = 4:03pm)

To assure the best quality and flavor, we recommend that you use this product on or before the date stamped.
