Q: How do you freeze PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Cheesecakes?
A: FREEZING A CHEESECAKE (including mini-cheesecakes, pies) 
  • Cool cheesecake completely; refrigerate at least 3 hours 
  • Do not top or garnish 
  • Wrap securely in plastic wrap followed by heavy duty aluminum foil; place in freezer bag, label and date 
  • Cheesecake can be stored in refrigerator up to 5 days 
  • Cheesecake can be stored in freezer up to 2 months

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND FREEZING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Any recipes using PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese that also call for eggs
  • Cheesecakes that contain sour cream
  • Refrigerated or no-bake cheesecakes prepared with gelatin
  • Frosting prepared with Light Neufchatel cheese
  • Recipes that contain a white sauce, gelatin, mayonnaise or salad dressing
