Q: Can I make STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix directly in my oven? How about in a steamer?
A: OVEN BAKED:

Place contents of seasoning pouch and 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter/margarine in 1-quart casserole.
Add 1-1/2 cups HOT water.
Stir just to blend and partially melt butter.
Add stuffing crumbs; stir just to moisten.
Bake, uncovered, 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

May be prepared in baking dish with chicken or other meat; 25 minutes before meat is done, move it to one side of baking dish and baste with pan dripping; mound stuffing on other side and bake 25 minutes longer.

STEAMER DIRECTIONS:

Empty Stuffing Crumbs into 12x10x2-inch pan.
Combine contents of Vegetable/Seasoning Packets, water and margarine in saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour over Stuffing Crumbs; mix lightly.
Cover with aluminum foil. Place in steamer. Heat in steamer for 15 minutes.
Fluff with fork before serving.
